This subterranean bar/restaurant is a wonderful spot for a Wednesday night drink and/or after-work snack. Its Middle Eastern theme is well-executed, and the bar has a romantic ambiance with rose petals and a soft hum. Curtains are woven throughout the relatively small space, making each little table feel private despite being able to hear the conversation of the neighboring table, and there’s even a little waterfall table in one of the alcoves. The drink selection is extensive, but not particularly fetching. The food menu is one of Middle Eastern staples, and I think pretty solid. I always enjoy getting the hummus with fresh pita bread, but the real draw of this place is its clandestine and sexy vibe.
